Report results from an outside lab

DNA tests for simple traits and genetic conditions can be done outside of ASA.  In order for the results to be added on Herdbook, members can forward official results (including registration numbers) from the lab to This email address is being protected from spambots. Tissue Sampling Units (TSU) can be requested through ASA by phone/email. TSU kits come in bundles of 10 sampling units.

Abnormalities

Genetic Abnormality Reporting Form

Phone ASA immediately to report the incident and take multiple photos of the affected calf. Then fill out this  form and mail/email/fax to ASA.
