ACT NOW: Membership Status and Animal Registrations if you plan to register for the National Classic.
This year offers new challenges to host the National Classic. There are extra steps to conduct the National Classic to comply with all federal, state, local, and facility health and COVID‐19 laws and regulations along with ASA requirements. We will not be able to extend the deadline for registration past June 5 at 4:30 pm Mountain – we will need time to plan appropriately after the contestant and animal count is known.
Don’t wait. The first steps are to make sure you have an active junior membership (either your FY2020 annual service has been paid or you have taken out a new junior membership) and the animals you plan to enter are registered (have an ASA registration number).
You will not be able to register for the National Classic if the above two items are not completed. The deadline to complete registration for the National Classic is Friday, June 5, at 4:30 pm Mountain. No exceptions, no late entries. (Registration to attend the National Classic must be completed and all fees paid before Friday, June 5, at 4:30 pm Mountain).
Contact ASA staff early this week if you have any problems – waiting until the last minute may result in missing the deadline and not able to attend the National Classic. We will assist, first come‐first served.
Are you in active status? Go to herdbook.org; log‐in and check under the My Account tab for ASF: Current
