Are you tracking and reporting these traits?

  • Calving ease
  • Birth weight
  • Weaning weight
  • Yearling weight
  • Yearling hip height
  • Ultrasound
  • Docility scores
  • Genomic test on birth group
  • Foot and leg score

Those who qualify are listed in the Late Fall SimTalk and could be featured in an article highlighting their breeding program.

Want to see if you qualify?

If you’re enrolled in THE, follow these steps to see your current score:

When you Log in, go to Data Entry / Online / Inventory - select Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 and look at the new dashboard to track your data and see what has been submitted.

Missing any traits, but think you completed the contemporary group?

Using calf removal codes will aid in meeting the requirements; there are pre-wean removal codes for calves culled prior to weaning and post wean removal codes for calves culled after weaning.
