2025-26 National PTP Shows

2025 American Royal

The first Ring of Champions Major PTP Show, the American Royal, is in the books. Mia Bayer, Director of Youth Programs, summarized the event saying, “The 2025–26 PTP show season officially kicked off at the American Royal in Kansas City last week. 93 head of junior and 97 head of open show cattle were exhibited. The quality was exceptional and SimGenetics proved to be competitive not only within the breed, but proved they can come out on top when it comes to competing in the supreme drives as well. A huge congratulations goes out to Chloee Clark and Breckyn Bloomberg who exhibited the Supreme Champions in both the junior and open female shows. We look forward to continuing the momentum in a few weeks at the North American Livestock Exposition coming up in Louisville.”

2025 North American International Livestock Expo

The North American International Livestock Expo (NAILE) in Louisville, Kentucky, hosted the second National SimGenetics Show of the season, and the Simmental breed had a strong showing in both the junior and open shows. The supreme drive gave SimGenetics another opportunity to shine, demonstrating not only the quality of Simmental cattle but also the dedication of our exhibitors, proving they can compete at any level. Congratulations to all the exhibitors over the past week. Next stop is Cattlemen's Congress in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in early January of 2026.
